When dealing with collections, sometimes you get a phone call from someone claiming to be homeless. While it is possible that they may have borrowed a phone, it happens so frequently in collections that not everyone could be telling the truth.
- If they're homeless, how can they afford to pay a cel phone bill?
- If they're paying a cel phone bill, how do they have a billing address while simultaneously being homeless?
- If they're grabbing the mail out of a place they're evicted from, how will they know if the bill has been paid?
- If someone is paying their cel phone bill, why can't the payer also A. make them not homeless, and B. pay something on their contract?
